The German car parts concern Continental boasts, at present, 10,000 employees in Romania and continues to be one of the most active companies on recruiting websites, Realitatea.net reports. At least 100 recruiting ads by the company are active at the moment on websites eJobs, BestJobs and Myjob.ro. “Continental will continue its recruiting operations in the course of this year, in all its units in Timisoara, Sibiu, Iasi, Brasov, Carei and Nadab, depending on the projects which are in need of staff,” Anica Stoica, Continental Romania HR Coordinator, stated, for Realitatea.net. The German company announced it would recruit, this year, over 1,500 young graduates at global level, adding that junior positions would be advertised for production units in Romania as well. Most of the positions advertised at present are for engineers and IT specialists, but economists, finance specialists, managers or young German-speakers are also wanted. The cities with the highest number of positions available, within the Continental group, are Timisoara, Iasi and Sibiu.
