Quake rattles Chile on disaster anniversary

A 6.0-magnitude quake rattled south-central Chile on Sunday on the anniversary of a massive quake and tsunami that killed more than 500 people and left 220,000 homeless, officials said, quoted by straitstimes.com. There were no immediate reports of victims or damage from the latest quake but it did cause partial power outages in the towns of Canete and Chiguayante, Chile’s National Emergency Office said.
