RBS Romania earnings rose by 15 pc last year

The earnings of RBS Romania rose by approximately 15 per cent last year, at over RON 150 M, and the bank will focus, this year, on products and services targeting premium clients, the credit institution announced, yesterday, in a press release. According to the president of RBS Romania, Johan Gabriels, all the products, as well as the new functions added to already existing products and services, which the bank is to launch, will be addressed to this type of clients. The earnings of the bank, present on the Romanian market since 1995, amounted to RON 130.4 M in 2009, based on local accounting standards (RAS).
