Renault and Dacia registration rate in Germany on the rise

The number of Renault and Dacia cars registered in Germany rose, in the first two months of 2011, by 20.8 pc, at 25,848, while the market expanded by 15.2 pc, to 435,482 units, according to figures announced, on Thursday, by the German Vehicle Registration Office KBA, quoted by Mediafax.Renault’s and Dacia’s market share amounted, at the end of the aforementioned interval, to 5.9 pc, claiming the seventh position on the market, behind VW (23 pc), BMW, Mini (8.5 pc), Mercedes (8 pc), Opel (7.6 pc), Audi (7.2 pc) and Ford (7.1 pc). 13,444 Renault and Dacia vehicles were registered in February, rising by 39.7 pc, a trend which entitled the brands to a joint 6 pc market share.
