Investments worth EUR 20 M since Puratos came to Romania, 15 years ago

Belgian group Puratos, a provider of ingredients and solutions for the milling and bakery industry that celebrates 90 years of global existence this year, has invested a total EUR 20 M during the 15 years that passed since it entered the Romanian market, reads a press release. In Romania, the group currently has 160 employees, and operates a factory north of Bucharest, and 10 distribution centers in Bacau, Brasov, Baia Mare, Constanta, Cluj Napoca, Craiova, Galati, Timisoara, Oradea, and Ramnicu Valcea. The Puratos factory was built in 2006, on 2,600 squares of land, with an investment worth EUR 10 M in buildings and state-of-the-art equipment. The unit has an output capacity of 340 tons a week. Puratos Romania currently exports its products to Moldova, Bulgaria, Greece, Ukraine, Italy, Croatia and Hungary.
