No Romanian MoD employees in Libya, ministry says

The Romanian Defence Ministry (MoD) said on Tuesday, referring to the information that Romanian mercenaries are fighting in Libya on Ghaddafi’s side, that ‘these persons are not MoD employees.’ The Arab newspaper Asharq al-Awsat reported on Monday that the Libyan leader is using paid mercenaries from Serbia, Syria, Ukraine and Romania to attack rebels.
