The deputies in the Chamber’s Labour Committee decided, yesterday, to invite the Labour Minister, Ioan Botis, to provide some clarifications regarding the state of the pension system, after the minister compared it to a “Ponzi scheme”, Realitatea.net reports. The MPs decided to invite, as well, to the meeting, Gheorghe Ialomitianu, the Finance Minister, to present his viewpoint on the piece of legislation by which private pension funds are correlated with the inflation rate. The opposition deputies were very vehement, arguing that the minister Botis’s statements were irresponsible.
