Romanian girl struck and killed by locomotive in Sicily

A five-year Romanian girl was hit and killed by a tank engine in Sicily, Mediafax quoted the AGI online as writing. The accident happened in the Sicilian province of Ragusa, on the railway linking Marina di Modica and Sampieri. The locomotive struck the girl, who was collecting plants together with some relatives, as she tripped and fell while trying to cross the railway. The girl died instantaneously.
