20-year-old woman caught driving at 229 km/h

A 20-year-old woman was caught by the traffic police, on Sunday, driving at 229 km/h on the Sun Highway. Irina Danu, who was driving an Audi TT, was caught on the tracking station on her way from Bucharest to Constanta. According to Realitatea TV, the young woman is the daughter of a Constanta businessman, Crinu Danu. In fact, dozens of drivers were fined, on Sunday, by the traffic police, on A2. A man got a criminal record after being caught riding a motorcycle without a license. He admitted that he had run on the public roads without a license for a week because he had failed the track sample of the driver’s license examination. Another driver was caught driving at 180 km/h, on DN 1, when leaving the village Baicoi, in Prahova County. The man was left without a license for three months and also had to pay a heavy fine. In Prahova County, as well, the traffic police dealt 150 fines in the space of a few hours.
