PNL leader launches warning to organizations opposing USL protocol

The president of the National Liberal Party (PNL), Crin Antonescu, stated, yesterday, that things couldn’t possibly reach a situation where one or several PNL organizations should fail to reach a consensus with the Social Democratic Party (PSD) at local level, arguing that any organization or organization leader that would not sign the Social Liberal Union (USL) local protocol would be automatically excluded from the party. The PNL leader further stated that PSD and the Centre-Right Alliance (ACD) were in the last stage of this process, which would, most likely, be completed in the course of the week, without any special problems. Antonescu added that the signing of the protocols for Bucharest could take longer, though not owing to opposition from organization leaders, but to the fact that USL stipulated, in the case of Bucharest, the need for prior talks regarding the joint projects which will be presented to the voters.
