Two SGG executive directors fined by ANI

The National Integrity Agency (ANI) has applied a total of 593 fines for failure to submit financial disclosure statements and statements of interests within the legal deadline, according to a press release. Among the people who have been fined there are also two executive directors from the Secretariat General of the Government (SGG). According to ANI, three other directors (executive, economic and a technical director) from the Constanta, Prahova and Tulcea Public Health Directorates, as well as 27 civil servants from the central structures of the Environment and Forest Ministry and 67 workers with special status – police officers with the Ministry of Administration and Interior, 280 people in managerial and control positions with the Romanian Road Traffic Authority, etc. have been also fined. ANI notes the failure to submit the financial disclosure statement and the statement of interests within the legally provided deadline is a violation and is punished with a fine between RON 50 to RON 2,000.
