A Police car on mission hit a woman on the crosswalk, yesterday morning, in the town of Arad, near the local railway station, Realitatea TV reports. Witnesses say the car had the siren and lights on. The driver was a woman in civilian clothes, who did not want to speak with the journalists that came to cover the incident. A SMURD team took the victim to the Arad County Emergency Hospital. According to Arad Police spokeswoman Camelia Tuduce, the driver is sub-inspector with the Criminal Police and she was going to investigate a home burglary case in Pecica.
