Interior Minister Traian Igas told a press conference yesterday that next week a new management will take over the Police Academy, underlining that “this entire education concept will be structured on other principles,” according to Mediafax. Igas explained that the Interior Ministry is currently evaluating each of its structures, as part of a wide reorganization process. He added that so far it has not been decided how many employees will be sacked, but underlined that those who did not do their job properly will be the first to go. Igas did not give any details about the changes in management at the Police Academy, saying only that the person who will be in charge of the institution is someone he relies on.
