Two youngsters charged with cruel killing of partner in crime

Two Bucharest youth are charged with the brutal murder of a partner in crime set to go out of business. Dambovita investigators started out with an inquiry into the disappearance of a 52-year-old male from Dambovita County. Police learned that the victim, along with two accomplices, aged 25 and 28 respectively, were dealing in bounced cheques. When the victim expressed his willingness to get clean and tell everything to the police, his two partners in crime decided to do away with him. Investigators say they pulled him into a car, drove to a field by the A1 motorway, tied a chain around the man’s neck, hit him in the head with the car trailing hook and drove the car over him a couple of times to make sure he was dead. After ten months, Dambovita investigators managed to resolve the disappearance case and connect it to the two partners in illegal activities. They were arrested for 29 days and could be facing life in prison.
