Senator Vasile Nistor withdraws from PDL

Senator Vasile Nistor announced that he will withdraw from PDL and will act as independent, ‘Jurnalul National’ informs. Nistor justified his decision by the fact that “PDL has done much wrong to Romanians,” in situations like “the fraudulent vote” to the Pension Law. “The tensions that accumulated inside PDL, especially after admitting the PLD colleagues into the party, led to a generalised conflict at the level of all local branches throughout the country. In this context, when new faces permanently appeared, without any political or organisation-related experience, as they demonstrated by disappointing while exerting their attributions as dignitaries, there are attempts to unjustly remove the people who bore the brunt in the party and won all the elections, from year 2000 until now. I belong to these people and, furthermore, I am a founding member of the party,” the senator wrote in a press release.
