Two earthquakes took place in Vrancea, magnitude 3.2 and 2.9 on the Richter scale, and a magnitude 3 earthquake took place in Transylvania, the Geophysics Institute informs, being quoted by Realitatea TV. According to the Institute, the three earthquakes took place on Wednesday and Thursday. “There is a disturbance in Vrancea seismicity since November, a more intense rhythm compared to the previous period. This makes us think about a more important seismic level, a maximum of 5.3 on the Richter scale. These days are critical,” Toader Victorin, head of the Romanian Applied Seismology Institute’s seismic warning laboratory, had stated at the start of this week.
