Oprescu invites USL to talks over Capital budget

Bucharest Mayor Sorin Oprescu extended Social-Liberal (USL) leaders Crin Antonescu and Victor Ponta an invitation for dialogue over Bucharest budget issues. The two leaders decided to honour the invitation. “We have decided to answer in the affirmative and, to have a joint meeting with Sorin Oprescu in the upcoming days to discuss his projects, the budget issue, which is going to be discussed at the meeting of the CGMB , about the referendum and district structure,” Crin Antonescu, president of the National Liberal Party (PNL), announced yesterday, adding that USL leaders are keen to know Sorin Oprescu’s viewpoint, with the USL set to offer a united line of action to all its councillors in the CGMB. “We will take a united vote, we’ll see what draft budget to support,” Antonescu said.
