Romanian engineers paid EUR 1,600-wages in Czech Republic

Czech employers are seeking Romanian engineers, according to an ad posted on the National Employment Agency (ANOFM) website, Realitatea.net informs. Employers seek engineers with at least two years’ experience. Contracts are on a non-finite period, and those selected could be offered accommodation and meal tickets. Wages amount to up to EUR 1,650. Nearly 113,000 Romanian citizens went to work abroad, in 2010, via the National Employment Agency. Most of them headed to Germany, over 110,000 people. Most of the Romanians who work abroad are employed in the agriculture sector and earn between EUR 800 and 1,500 a month.
