Ice Hockey: HSC Miercurea Ciuc national champion again

HSC Miercurea Ciuc has successfully defended its ice hockey title after winning its away game against ASC Corona Fenestela 68 Brasov, score 6-0 (3-0, 1-0, 2-0), Agerpres informs. The result gave HSC Miercurea Ciuc a 4-0 lead in the final fixture. HSC won through the goals scored by Istvan Nagy (13th minute), Ede Mihaly (15th minute, 55th minute), Attila Goga (17th minute, 21st minute), Ladislav Sikorcin (50th minute). Barna Tanczos, President of the Romanian Ice Hockey Federation (FRHG), handed them the trophy. “It was a crazy final with beautiful, well-balanced games and unpredictable results. Another reason for joy is the fact that another city has appeared on the hockey map – Brasov, a city that has a modern skating rink and maybe it’s not by chance that ASC Corona Fenestela reached the final,” Tanczos stated for FRHG’s official website.
