Romaero yesterday delivered its 100th kit of parts for A380 airplanes to SABCA (Societe Anonyme Belge de Construction Aeronautique), a top company of the global aviation industry, reads a press release issued by the Ministry of Economy. The Romanian company is under contract with SABCA since 2002, as a supplier of parts for AIRBUS 380. The first AIRBUS 380 that took off in 2005 incorporated parts manufactured by Romaero. A total 43 such long-haul airplanes are in operation now. Romaero is Romania’s only company involved in such a European scale programme.
