Radio-TV campaign to promote tourism kicks off

The Ministry of Regional Development and Tourism (MDRT) initiated, on Friday, the radio and TV campaign for the domestic promotion of Romanian tourism, worth RON 7.2 M, Mediafax reports. The targets of the campaign include boosting the number of tourists who choose to spend their holidays in the country and boosting the occupancy rate of accommodation facilities in Romania. The action is part of the project to promote Romania under the national brand for tourism and is funded out of European non-reimbursable funds. The campaign presupposes the broadcasting of ads, April to June and September to December, on Pro TV, Radio Romania Actualitati and Radio Europa FM.
