Amza Pellea posthumously awarded star on Walk of Fame

Amza Pellea will be awarded, posthumously, a star on the Romanian Walk of Fame, today, when the legendary actor would have turned 80, the initiators of the project announced. The star will be unveiled by his daughter, the actress Oana Pellea, in the presence of the mayor of Bailesti, Dolj County, the great actor’s birthplace. Before Amza Pellea, this distinction was awarded to Florin Piersic, in January, Victor Rebengiuc, in February, and Radu Beligan, in March.

Walk of Fame is a space dedicated to the great names of Romanian film and cinema, situated in the Time Square, inaugurated by Metropolis Theatre, in collaboration with the Bucharest City Tourist Association and Cocor Shopping Centre.
