Suicide attempt at ‘Aparatorii Patriei’ metro station

Metro traffic from Piata Sudului to Berceni was interrupted yesterday morning in Bucharest, when a woman tried to commit suicide by jumping in front of a train, at the Aparatorii Patriei station. According to operator company Metrorex, the incident occurred at 8.32 AM. A Metrorex rescue team responded immediately, closely followed by an ambulance and a team sent by the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations. Ambulance medics stabilized the woman, who was still alive, and took her to the Bagdasar Arseni Hospital.
