Romcab signs EUR 27 M contract with Delphi

Romcab Targu-Mures will supply electric conductors to Delphi Packard, an American auto parts manufacturer, following the signing of a EUR 27 M contract, the Romanian company’s communiqué reads. The contract has been signed for one year starting this May. The value of the contract we signed with Delphi Packard two weeks ago comes to support the company’s financial estimates for this year and represents well over half the turnover that Romcab Targu-Mures proposed for 2011. Having a market share of 20 per cent on the conductor segment, Romcab reported a turnover of EUR 12 M last year. For 2011 the company’s representatives estimate a turnover four times larger. Romcab’s final clients include Aprilia, Ducatti, Suzuki, Piaggio, Renault, Fiat, Opel and Valeo.
