A businessman from Olt County was found dead, on Saturday, on the premises of his farm in Valea Mare, and the police’s preliminary investigation suggests the man stabbed himself three times in the chest, Mediafax reports. According to the chief inspector Elena Tinca, from the Olt County Police Inspectorate (IPJ), Saturday afternoon, around 5pm, a woman called 112 and reported the finding of a dead body at a farm in Valea Marea. When they reached the scene, the police established the victim was the owner of the farm, Constantin Spak, aged 60.
“Based on the preliminary investigation, the Slatina Police established the man had dealt himself thee blows in the chest. There are no suspicions of foul play,” Tinca stated. Friends of the man claim the latter had recently undergone a liver transplant. “I last saw him on Wednesday. I went to see him because he had seemed under the weather. He had had a transplant, indeed, but I don’t think this was the reason for it. I’ve heard some say he had had problems with money, that he had lost an amount of money,” one of Spak’s friends stated.
