PM Boc: No secret protocol between UDMR and PDL

Democrat-Liberal President and Romania’s Premier Emil Boc said, while in Miercurea Ciuc, Saturday, that “there is no such thing as a secret protocol between the UDMR (Hungarian Democratic Union of Romania) and the Democrat Liberal Party (PDL), nothing outside the Constitution and the governing program,” Mediafax reports.

The Constitution applies just the same, whether in Bucharest, Miercurea Ciuc and Botosani, and is observed anywhere in Romania,” Boc added, who criticized the attitude of Csibi Barna, the man from Harghita who “symbolically” hanged Avram Iancu on the eve of the Day of Magyars from Everywhere. “Excesses of the Csibi Barna kind must be sanctioned by state authorities, regardless of where they happened, and those guilty must go to trial, but this is authorities’, not politicians’, job,” Boc said.
