Two chalets in a tourist complex in Bistrita-Nasaud burned in a powerful fire Monday night into Tuesday morning. One of the chalets also contained a 260-seat restaurant, a fitness hall and swimming pool. A short-circuit happened, with the fire extending to the entire building, including the restaurant, fitness hall and swimming pool, which burned to the ground, said Cornel Moisil, mayor of Sant, where the complex is located. No victims were reported.
