Corina Cretu and Adrian Duicu, vice-presidents of PSD

The Executive Committee of the Social-Democrat Party (PSD) validated, yesterday, the decisions adopted, last week, by the National Standing Bureau, appointing Corina Cretu and Adrian Duicu in the offices of vice-presidents, remained vacant after Adrian Severin and Ion Toma resigned. Duicu was nominated deputy president in Toma’s place, and Corina Cretu is to replace Severin. The two were next in line for these offices as they held, in the February 2010 PSD Congress, the first two positions below the list of the appointed 15, based on the number of votes, in the race for deputy presidents.
