Toyota expects late deliveries following European factories shutdown

Toyota Romania expects delays in delivery after production was interrupted at five Europeanfactories of the Japanese car-maker, representatives of the importer stated, quoted by Mediafax.The Japanese car-manufacturer announced, yesterday, it would interrupt activity at fiveEuropean plants, for eight days, in late April and early May, because it lacks some parts madein Japan, as a consequence of the March quake. For the same reason, Toyota decided to interruptits activity in North America for six days in April.Toyota Romania stated it had a stock ofvehicles, but expects delays in deliveries, particularly on the basic models – Yaris, Auris andAvensis. “
