Dan Petrescu, one of the most successful Romanian head coaches in recent years, needs only a proposal from the leaders of the Romanian Football Federation (FRF) in order to take over the national team, prosport.ro informs. After the success he had with Unirea Urziceni, Dan Petrescu has similar results in Russia with Kuban Krasnodar, a team with which he entered Russia’s top league and which has had a very good start this season. In an interview for ‘ProSport,” Petrescu stated that he would take over the national team at any time, a team that for years has been wallowing in a mediocrity that Romanian football fans could hardly have imagined. “If I’m called at the national team I’ll urely come. I can’t invite myself,” this is Dan Petrescu’s message for the FRF leaders.
