Ice Hockey: Romania enters WC’s Division I

Romania’s national ice hockey team has entered the World Championship’s  Division I after defeating Croatia in Zagreb in the last game of Division II’s Group B, score 2-1 (0-1, 1-0, 1- 0), Agerpres informs. In other games, China  defeated Bulgaria, 12-6, and Iceland defeated Ireland, score 14-0. Romania, coached by Canada’s Tom Skinner, finished on first place with 15 points in  Group B, having defeated China (9-4), Iceland (4-2), Ireland (22-0), Bulgaria (10-1) and Croatia (2-1). She was followed by Croatia (12 pts), Iceland (9 pts),  China (6 pts), Bulgaria (3 pts), Ireland (0 pts).
