Romanian representative in Superbike World Championship

Robert Muresan (PTR Romania) became on Sunday the first Romanian motorcyclist to win a point in the Superbike World Championship, doing so in the Supersport race in Assen. “I won the first point in the Supersport class and I’m sure things will go increasingly better from now on. Italy’s GP is next three weeks from now and I hope I’ll repeat my performance on the Monza circuit,” Muresan stated. Muresan finished the race in Assen on 15th place after one motorcyclist was disqualified. The Supersport class is a competition introduced in the racing season schedule in 1990 as an extension of the Superbike World Championship. Robert Muresan is racing on a Honda CBR 600 motorcycle.
