The third edition of the Timishort Film Festival, dedicated to international and Romanian short-reel films, will take place between May 4 and 8, in Timisoara, the organizers inform. The competition will include 12 shorts. Videorama, the experimental film and video art programme, will feature 12 films, as well. Furthermore, Timishort introduces this year a national section, which will comprise eight Romanian shorts, some of them to be shown in a national premiere. Timishort will also present a selection of the finest recent creations of the prestigious Universities of Television and Film in Munich (Germany) and Belgrade (Serbia), as well as special programmes dedicated to the affiliated film festivals: Festival International du Film Francophone – Namur, Anim’Est Bucharest, Cologne OFF and Directors’ Lounge Berlin.
