Traian Basescu to visit Jordan

The Romanian president, Traian Basescu, is expected today in Amman, on a brief working visit, during which he will meet King Abdullah II, the Jordanian press agency Petra announced, on its website. According to the Petra agency, quoted by Mediafax, president Basescu and King Abdullah will discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and other mutual interest topics. In 2010, Romania and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan celebrated 45 years since the initiation of diplomatic ties.
