SC Hoedlmayr Lazar SRL, one of the major transport companies in Europe, irrevocably won the lawsuit against the Arges Public Finance Department, reads a press release. The lawsuit referred to classifying the revaluation reserve surplus in the sale of a plot of land, as an element similar to incomes. The case also referred to the nature of the tax on incomes earned in Romania by non-resident legal entities, with regard to the classification and interpretation of a service contract. The court exonerated SC Hoedlmayr Lazar SRL from paying the sum of RON 1,500,000, plus related accessories. SC Hoedlmayr Lazar SRL was represented in court by the law firm Danila, Petre & Asociatii.
