Monica Columbeanu was summoned, yesterday morning, before the Bucharest Court, which is analyzing a petition by which Irinel Columbeanu disputed the court’s decision to grant temporary custody of their daughter, Irina, to the mother. According to libertatea.ro, on Wednesday, Irina Columbeanu was briefly rejoined with her father. The little girl was taken by her mother to the businessman’s flat in the Victoria Square, and the three spent some time together. Although Monica Columbeanu did not receive the same treatment from the businessman, being left waiting at the gates of the Izvorani home every time she had tried to see her daughter, her lawyers advised her to allow Irinel to see the child. A week ago, Monica managed to recover her daughter after the police forced entry into Irinel Columbeanu’s villa. The Bucharest Court decided, on April 4, to grant temporary custody of the child to the mother, Monica Columbeanu, allowing the latter’s appeal to the Buftea Court’s ruling, which had granted temporary custody to the father, until the divorce was pronounced.
