12 Romanians arrested in Spain for selling inexistent cars on the internet

Spanish police apprehended 17 suspects – including 12 Romanians – and thus dismantled a criminal ring that caused a prejudice of more than EUR 300,000 by selling inexistent cars on the internet, reads the web page of the ‘El Periodico Extremadura’ newspaper, quoting EFE news agency. Before they were caught, they had already cheated customers from Poland, UK, Slovakia, USA and the Czech Republic, whom they invited to buy cars from an internet site held in the Czech Republic. Arrests were made in several towns of Spain, undisclosed by Police, but searches also targeted locations in Madrid.
