Halep loses final in Fez, Morocco

Italy’s Alberta Brianti defeated Romanian tennis player Simona Halep on Sunday in the final of the WTA tournament in Fez, Morocco, score 6-4, 6-3, Agerpres informs. The tournament had total prizes of USD 220,000. Brianti won the game after one hour and 18 minutes. The game was interrupted by rain at the score of 5-2 for the Italian player. This is the second consecutive time Halep loses the final in Fez after she was defeated by Czech Republic’s Iveta Benesova last year.
