Famous pianist and composer Yanni may come to Bucharest in September

The famous pianist and composer Yanni could come to Romania this year, as the “Maria Domina” Cultural Association and the “Vreau Bilet” Agency are currently negotiating with the artist’s managers to bring him to Bucharest this autumn. “The show is part of the ‘Truth of Touch’ Tour, a musical itinerary which will cover the USA, Canada, China, Europe, including Romania and South America”, Pepino Popescu, the event organizer, stated, in a press release. Yanni, on his real name, Yiannis Hrysomallis, is a highly celebrated Greek-born musician.

He was nominated to a Grammy in 1992 and 1993. His musical style is frequently described as “new age”, although he prefers the label “contemporary instrumental”.
