Romania, EU’s steepest decline in industrial orders

Romania reported, in February, the steepest decline in new industrial orders compared to the preceding month, of 4.7 pc, while orders rose by 24.5 pc, compared to February 2010, Eurostat announced, yesterday, quoted by Money.ro. Compared to the same month of 2010, new industrial orders rose by 24.5 pc in Romania, in February 2011, while the new industrial orders rate rose by 19.8 pc at EU level, and by 21.3 pc in the euro zone. The most significant rises in industrial orders in February 2011, compared to the same month of 2010, were reported in Estonia (60.1 pc), Denmark (57.9 pc) and Latvia (56.1 pc), while the slightest rises were reported in the United Kingdom (7.1 pc), Spain (10 pc) and the Czech Republic (12.5 pc).
