Eight Romanian shorts at Short Film Corner

Yet another addition to the list of Romanian participants at the 2011 edition of the Cannes Festivals – the youngest authors, invited to take part in the Short Film Corner Section. Eight short-reel films, most of them student films, were added to the list of Romanian productions included in the programme of the prestigious festival.

The films in question are: “Strung Love” (directed by Victor Dragomir) – the tale of a factory rivet-production contest, in May 1984; “Draft 7” (dir. by Luiza Parvu), a bedroom drama; “Among Friends” (dir. by Ozana Nicolau); “Silent River” (directed by Anca Miruna Lazarescu), starring Andi Vasluianu; “Skin” (dir. by Ivona Mladenovic); “July 15” (directed by Cristi Iftimie), starring Coca Bloos and Adrian Titieni; “The Mugging” (dir. by Dan Radu Mihai); “Adultery” (dir. by Peter Kerek), the study of a suicide.
