Four Romanian soldiers wounded in Afghanistan

Four Romanian soldiers from the 26th Infantry Battalion were wounded in Afghanistan on Sunday morning in an IED attack on their vehicle, the Ministry of Defence informs. The Ministry points out that the blast overturned the MRAP vehicle. The attack left a Lieutenant with lesions on his back and left leg and a warrant officer with a fractured ankle, while a corporal suffered torn ligaments. The three were taken to the military hospital in Kandahar for further investigations and treatment. The fourth soldier suffered only minor bruising and returned to duty within the Lagman Base.
