Wozniacki given a tough workout in Madrid

Tennis betting fans saw that at the Madrid Open, Caroline Wozniacki has been given a very good workout during her 6-4 6-4 win in the second round over Bojana Jovanovsk, bookmakersin.com. reports. While playing the Serbian teenager at the Magic Box in the Spanish capital, the number one in the world was given a difficult time, as seen by tennis betting fans, and she really had to fight throughout the match.

Jovanovski broke Wozniacki’s serve three times, but the Danish star was able to manage five of her own breaks in order to safely move on into the next round, with many fans paying very close attention to the tennis odds, and being very excited by the action that took place. Wozniacki, 20-years-old, will now be facing in the event’s next round either German Julia Goerges, who was able to win the Stuttgart event last week, or Russia’s Dinara Safina, and tennis betting fans are eager to find out who will be the next contender. Samantha Stosur , fifth seed, also took part in a tight fight on the Spanish clay with unseeded Daniela Hantuchova from Slovakia, before the Australian was finally able to battle through 7-6 7-5, and tennis betting fans have been following the action all along.

Stosur, finalist of last year’s French Open, was given a very rough ride by Hantuchova, the former top five player, before she was finally able to make it into the third round.
