Adrian Mititelu owes Victor Piturca EUR 7 M

The Appeals Commission of the Romanian Football Federation (FRF) turned down the appeal filed by Universitatea Craiova owner Adrian Mititelu in the case concerning the money he owes Victor Piturca, his team’s former head coach, FRF spokesperson Paul Zaharia stated for Agerpres.

The Commission also turned down Piturca’s appeal, ruling that the former head coach should receive only EUR 7 M (EUR 1.8 M as bonus for signing the contract, EUR 5 M for the canceling of his contract and EUR 200,000 in back payments). In his appeal Piturca had asked for EUR 12 M. Anti-Corruption Office (DNA) prosecutors heard Victor Piturca on April 28 as a consequence of a complaint filed by Universitatea Craiova financier Adrian Mititelu.
