On Saturday, May 7, you can watch Everqueen, one of Queen’s best European tribute bands, in concert. After the 2010 sold-out concert, Claudio Desideri, Alessandro Re, Andrea Scacco, Vincenzo Ruopolo and Terzio di Fiori will climb, once again, on the Hard Rock Café stage to pay tribute to the band which changed for good the face of rock. The Queen story started in 1968 England, where Brian May and Roger Taylor laid the basis of the “Smile” trio. Two years later, after Tim Staffell, bassist and soloist, left the band, he was replaced by his roommate, Freddie Mercury, who joined the others in what was to become Queen. The line-up is complete when bassist John Deacon joins the band. Considered pioneers of heavy metal, glam rock and, occasionally, progressive, the four members of Queen composed hits which are still milestones of the rock scene: Freddie Mercury – “Bohemian Rhapsody”, Brian May – “We Will Rock You”, Roger Taylor – “Radio Ga Ga”, John Deacon – “Another One Bites the Dust”. Tickets are available, at RON 40, at the Hard Rock Café.
