Freight ferry line opens between Constanta and Istanbul

Turkish company UN Ro-Ro opened a freight ferryboat line between Constanta and the Pendik port of Istanbul, as part of its long-term development plans, the company announced, according to the Hurriyet, quoted by Mediafax. Following a meeting between Romanian Transport Minister Anca Boagiu and her Turkish counterpart Binali Yildirim, the administrations of the Constanta and Pendik seaports signed a collaboration protocol on opening freight ferryboat lines on the Black Sea. The two sides also consider opening a passenger ferry line between Romania and Turkey, Boagiu said.
