Results of fuel market probe get postponed

The results of the Competition Council (CC) probe into the fuel market and the possible measures against oil companies will most likely be postponed for the 2nd quarter of the year, Mediafax reports. Until then, Romanian officials will have talks with the European Commission (EC), government sources say. According to the sources, Romanian authorities and EC officials will hold several rounds of talks in the coming weeks, before the completion of the report on the fuel market. The probe into the fuel market initially started in 2005, then it was resumed in 2009 by a new team of CC experts.
