Young man beats and threatens two-year-old with knife

A young man from Navodari, who had beaten and threatened his two-year-old with a knife, was immobilized by police officers and committed to the Palazu Mare Neuropsychiatry Hospital. The police say the man was upset because his civil partner, who is working in Spain, had cheated on him. Criminal charges were filed against the man. The child was taken to his grandma, where he lives. A man from Ovidiu, also in Constanta County, called the police, on Saturday, announcing that his one-year-old grandson had been kidnapped from a woman from Tulcea County, whom he had offered accommodation the night before. After a couple of hours, the police found the woman and infant and suspect the woman had meant to use the child as a begging “prop”.
