Banca Carpatica solvency at 12 pc, above the minimum set by BNR

Banca Comerciala Carpatica (BCC) posted an increase of its immediate liquidity to 46.35 pc, from the level of 41.98 pc registered at the end of March 2010, reads a press release issued by the bank. The solvency of the bank amounted to 12.12 pc, above the 10 pc minimum set by the Central Bank (BNR), and its assets increased by 2.1 pc against the similar period of last year, adds the release. “Losses have significantly decreased against the similar period of 2010, and the positive signals in the market make us confident about meeting the targets set for this year,” said Nicolae Surdu, CEO of Banca Comerciala Carpatica.The operational profit of Banca Comerciala Carpatica on March 31, 2011 stood at 3,270 thousand RON, 27 pc more than estimated by the bank’s Incomes and Expenses Budget for this period.
