The deputy director of the Alba County Public Finance General Department (DGFP), Ioan Dobra and three other employees of the institution were detained by prosecutors Wednesday evening, for 24 hours, being accused of economic crimes. According to the head of the Alba Territorial Office of the Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism Danusia Boicean, prosecutors will ask the court to put the four civil servants on preventive arrest. A fifth person is also suspect in the case, but no detention warrant has been issued in this case. Sources close to the investigation, quoted by Mediafax, said that the fifth suspect is Cosmin Ioan Limbean, the manager of the group of companies controlled by the Italian citizen Luca Anversa, who is also suspected in the case. Prosecutors apparently questioned Anversa on Tuesday, before going public with the case.
